Postpartum Depression is a multi-faceted mood disorder, one that springs forth from Biological, Psychological, and Sociological forces.

You are NOT Alone.

Accordingly, I firmly believe every approach in treating Postpartum Mood Disorders needs to address all of the following:
  • Psychological:
  1. Mitigating present symptoms through mindfulness
  2. Healing past traumas
  3. Raising consciouness of Family of Origin patterns
  • Biological:
  1. Addressing sleep and nutrition needs
  2. Promoting self-care
  3. Correcting chemical imbalances
  • Sociological:
  1. Helping create positive social support network
  2. Decreasing isolation
  3. Strengthening bonds within the primary parenting partnership
