Free Weekly Support Group for Parents of Kids With Autism
Have you seen this flyer around Puget Sound? This is a weekly drop-in support group for parents
of kids with Autism (also high-functioning Autism, Asperger's, PDD-NOS, and Sensory Integration Dysfunction) that is completely
free of charge.
In this group, we talk about what it means to be a
parent of our funky kids, how it affects our marriages, how our perceptions of life are changing, and anything else that is
on our minds. The purpose of the group is to reduce isolation of parents, share our experience with other people who "get
it," and just be real in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
You are welcome! Drop-in for one time, or come every week. We meet in a private group room in my office building.
